COMBAT RULES & REGULATIONS
01 Team Requirements
- chevron_rightEach participant can only join one team.
- chevron_rightA team must consist of a maximum of 5 members.
- chevron_rightAll team members must be Sri Lankan nationals.
- chevron_rightMust have a unique name and a designated team leader.
- chevron_rightA team can only compete in one category (Heavy-Weight or Light-Weight).
02 Robot Specification
General
- chevron_rightChassis must be entirely custom-made (no pre-assembled kits).
- chevron_rightPower supply must be internal, maximum voltage 24 V.
- chevron_rightInternal combustion engines are not allowed.
- chevron_rightActive weapons must have a Master Kill Switch.
Heavy Weight
- chevron_rightMaximum weight: 20.0 kg.
- chevron_rightInitial dimensions: 45 cm × 45 cm (L x W).
- chevron_rightCan expand up to 60 cm after the battle starts.
Light Weight
- chevron_rightMaximum weight: 3.0 kg.
- chevron_rightInitial dimensions: 25 cm × 25 cm (L x W).
- chevron_rightCan expand up to 35 cm after the battle starts.
03Weapons & Safety
Safety Rules
- chevron_rightEntrants must pass safety and technical inspections.
- chevron_rightSharp edges must be covered outside the arena.
Forbidden Weapons
- chevron_rightElectricity (Stun guns, EMP, RF jamming).
- chevron_rightLiquids (except water), foams, adhesives.
- chevron_rightExplosives, flammable solids, or heat specifically generated to damage.
- chevron_rightBlinding lights/lasers and untethered projectiles.
- chevron_rightEntanglement devices (nets, fishing line, tape).

- chevron_rightEach team must have a unique name and a designated team leader.
02 Robot Specification
General
- chevron_rightRobots must be built by the team; pre-assembled kits are not allowed.
- chevron_rightMust be completely autonomous (no remote controls, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth).
- chevron_rightPower supply must be internal, with a maximum of 24 V.
- chevron_rightMust not separate into multiple parts or damage the arena.
Dimensions & Weight
- chevron_rightDimensions must not exceed 20 cm × 20 cm (Width × Length).
- chevron_rightThere is no height restriction.
- chevron_rightExtensions beyond the size limit are allowed only during operation.
03 Task Overview
Sequence of Tasks
- chevron_rightTask 1: Accurately follow the designated line path, including dotted line sections.
- chevron_rightTask 2: Detect and pick up the box.
- chevron_rightTask 3: Navigate the curved section by following the wall without collisions.
- chevron_rightTask 4: Accurately place the box within the designated drop zone.
University Category Specifics
- chevron_rightColor detection is required for the box (Red, Green, or Blue).
- chevron_rightMust identify the drop zone corresponding to the box color and place it correctly.
School Category Specifics
- chevron_rightColor detection is not required.
- chevron_rightThe box can be placed in any of the designated drop zones after wall following.
